Our History

Oskie Flag Football started in the spring of 2024 at the Papillion Landing facility. 

How we started:

In the past the league was ran by a facility here in town. This league was ran for 10+ year. There was no real governing of divisions. There was 1 ref per field. We only used cones. Refs had clock and score (no score boards). 20 minute halves. No pitching. 1 game per night. And there was not set rosters or anything like that. When covid hit myself and Rich Mailhot started "Premier Flag Football" League which we ran that from Winter of 2020 until Spring of 2024. Rich got a new job and had to step out of the league. We do thank him for everything he did to help revive the league and get us going again though! 

We made the move of facilities, rebranded and began the "upgrades" that we have put in since. Since moving over to the Papillion landing here is everything that has changed/been added:

- We now have working score boards
- We film and post most games on youtube
- We always have 2 refs per field
- We adapted the Iflag national rules. (12 minute halves, Pitching and more)
- We have pylons
- We have bigger prizes
- We now regularly have 20 teams per session
- We operate all year

We are really thankful for everyone in our community that has made this league what it is!
